Vincent has a Degree in Law and a Degree in Finance. He has also has a Certificate in Chinese Law and Legal System issued by the China University of Political Science and Law.
Vincent has a background in civil litigation, maritime law, and administrative and migration law. Since starting practice in 2004, Vincent has successfully conducted many litigious matters before the Court and the Tribunals. Since becoming the Principal of his former practice Hencent & Day Lawyers and a Partner of Auyeung Hencent & Day, Vincent has either won or successfully settled all of his litigation matters in the high courts. He is renowned for his commercial sense in representing his clients.
Vincent has also been practicing in the area of Migration Law since 2004. He has succeeded in all of his student visa appeals and has obtained many general skilled migration and employer based work visas for his clients. He specialises in working for small to mid size businesses that find it very difficult to substantiate their immigration case.
In his commercial practice, Vincent has acted in many larger scale business transactions and operations including acting as Company Secretary and Legal Advisor to an ASX Listed company and as legal adviser to numerous renewable energy firms. His talent in the commercial area is his preparedness to be flexible and ability to think outside the box.
Vincent is also a Notary Public and speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.
